life here has been hard - ranging from true thankfulness to be able to live life in this way to extreme depression at the inability to live life in this way.

what gives me hope is the ability to resist the domination system, to live outside the societal structure. and when others are joining in these same things, i am more hopeful.

i climbed atop a b-52 bomber at the oceana air show a few weeks ago with 3 other friends chanting to stop the war, holding signs that killing is nothing to celebrate and for all those evangelicals out there, one that said we shalt not kill. i did it for me, to be sane, to be hopeful, to wake the normal social order of things just a little bit so i could feel alive.

hand-crafts and sam's art give me hope too.
